Prisma provides donors and philanthropists with a Tax and Legal Advisory office. This office will give the required assistance needed, regarding the elaboration of the various possible means of contribution. This is in order to outline all the many incentives that the Law, given the purpose of the Foundation, provides for donations. One example of this is the benefit of lower taxation. Donors (private citizens, companies, Public Administrations) can benefit from contributions in many ways and even without involvement in the Board of the Foundation. The various possibilities of contributing, with or without participating in the Foundation, are: the donation of real estate or valuables; the donation of the right to use real estate property; grants; property loan for use; supporter subscription; contribution of capitals.
Prisma is a not-for-profit Foundation operating in the field of the conservation of Italian architectural heritage. Prisma in Italian stands for Projects for the Renovation of Immovable (Property) destined to Support the Multidisciplinary (Development) of the Arts. As with an optical prism, a solid element capable of refracting and spreading white light in its chromatic components, the Prisma Foundation brings the idea of a single building restoration that will be articulated with the involvement of different professional figures.
The Prisma Foundation works to restore historical heritage such as museums, historic buildings, cinemas and gardens that are in a state of decay and neglect, especially with regard to the promotion and coordination of construction projects. These projects are designed for the community and promote awareness initiating and supporting new projects. The Foundation is also an online publisher (publishing the Web Magazine “Diario On Line”).
